\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPROJECT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>This was the project that started it all. This was the flagship year for Film2Future, the film intensive non profit created by Rachel Miller at Haven Entertainment. Andrew new one thing going into this filmmaking intensive: he wanted to composer the music. Once student filming groups were created, he was assigned to be the production sound mixer and editor, with the option to compose an original score.<\/span><\/p>It was on set that he learned the basics of monitoring levels and mic placements, all of which would set the foundation for his mixing experience. He had a blast working with his fellow crew members Jenna Flores (Director, Writer) and Andy Vasquez (Director of Photography).<\/span><\/p>He began composing his first score after establishing a rough cut of the film. He used the stock piano and clarinet to compose a simple score outlining the care Anastasia had for her younger sister Lucia and the conflict between a young artist and a mother who wants a sure path to success for her daughters.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBACKGROUND<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nFilm2Future is the emerging filmmaker\u2019s nonprofit founded by Rachel Miller of Haven Entertainment, with a mission to diversify Hollywood and provide a direct pipeline for under-served LA students to obtain careers in the film industry. Andrew joined the first year of the program in 2016. He has completed 3 summer intensives as a student and returned as a coordinator and sound supervisor from 2021-2023.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/p>
